FAQs

What do Baby Holidays do?

We deliver baby essentials direct to your holiday accommodation. And this is how it works...

STEP 1 - Choose your products and add them to your shopping basket. The weight of your products will automatically appear below the checkout to show you how much you can add before you cross into the next delivery price bracket.

STEP 2 - When you've finished shopping, proceed to checkout where you will fill in your contact details and the delivery information. The delivery information must be accurate (especially the postcode) to ensure that the courier is not delayed in delivering your parcel.

STEP 3 - Make sure you have specified a delivery date that is at least 2 weeks from the date you are placing your order. If you need it quicker than that please contact us and we will try to accommodate your needs.

STEP 4 - It's really important that you read and agree to the terms and conditions as we cannot process your order without this.

STEP 5 - To finish your order you can either pay via PayPal whish is a safe and secure online payment system, or you can select a direct bank to bank transfer. If you select the latter a member of the Baby Holidays team will contact you to provide the bank details.

STEP 6 - Congratulations, you have now completed your order. You will receive a confirmation email from Baby Holidays. Now you can start packing!

STEP7 - You will receive an email telling you the courier and the tracking number that your parcel will be travelling with approximately 3 working days before your delivery date.

Why should I use Baby Holidays' services?

  • You don't have to carry the items yourself and pay the baggage charges, which can be as much as £8-10 per kilogram.
  • You don't have to worry about carrying too much liquid (eg baby milk) through airport security.
  • No concerns about lost luggage.
  • You can plan ahead and ensure you have all the items you need.
  • You don’t risk being hit with high prices when shopping for baby items on holiday.
  • You can guarantee the products your baby likes are with you on holiday.
  • We can deliver to remote locations as well as popular resorts.

How much is the service?

It’s very simple… 1) the product costs, 2) the delivery, and 3) a £25 service charge. (For countries outside of the EU and for the Canaries & Balearics there may be additional customs charges payable).

What are the charges for?

  • The products themselves e.g. nappies, wipes, baby milk and so on.
  • The delivery cost is the cost of using an international carrier. It's determined by weights and destinations.
  • The service charge covers the cost of our time, packing, administration and processing the order.
  • Customs charges are made by non-EU countries, and these are charged to you as and when we are made aware of them by the country's customs department.

Can you deliver anywhere?

We can deliver to anywhere that our couriers can! This even includes countries with complicated import guidelines such as the USA as long as the appropriate paperwork has been completed in advance.

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

A minimum of 2 weeks before your required delivery date, although 3 weeks is preferred.

If there is less than 2 weeks until your required delivery date, please call 07793 726 731 or 0161 766 6472 and we will try to assist you. There is an additional charge of £10 for orders placed with less than 2 weeks to delivery date.

Can I order a product that is not on your website?

Yes! Providing we can legally export the item, we will be happy to accommodate you. Items not on the website will be billed separately and the additional delivery cost will be included in that price.

What happens if an item I ordered is not available?

We will always aim to provide you with the items you have requested however in the unlikely event that a product is not available we will send a reasonable substitute item. If you are not happy with this item please contact us and we can look to refund you for the product as per our Terms & Conditions.

What should I do if my parcel is delayed?

Baby Holidays recommends that you take enough items with you for the first 48 hours of your holiday as there are occasionally unexpected delays for parcels. These situations are very rare and almost all parcels are there in advance of the required delivery date.

Baby Holidays will work with you to pursue any late parcels to ensure a resolution is arrived at as soon as possible. This is all part of our service to you so don’t worry about it!

What can I do if I run out of essentials whilst on holiday?

Please let us know if this happens and we will do our best to accommodate you with our express delivery services.
